I used to belong to many yahoo e-mail groups.....but after a time , left all save one, Hidden Wisdom. This one is run by a remarkable woman of God, Connie Hultquist, who's writing minister to me daily. The others were just time wasters and e-mail box clutterers! Connie is a TRUE Titus 2:3-5 woman if I ever knew one, I wish I would have met her years ago when I was struggling...she could have helped me catch my homemaking vision that much sooner!! I would encourage you to check her writings out. Her yahoo group can be found here....you must join that for daily e-mail. But to just read some of her past messages, check out her website Happy Housewifery here. It is rare that I recommend groups as most are a dime a dozen and not worth one's time away from your family....but this one would bless any woman who has a heart for her home, family and the Lord! On my humble recommendation , go check her out!
Here's a speck that really touched me especially after the disappointments of our most recent election...her stuff is by no means political in nature....but Connie has got a real grasp of what is really going on!
"The Bible says that God will change our land when HIS PEOPLE humble themselves and pray. Its not the fault of the unbelievers in our country....it is the fault of the People of God. We dont have enuf salt to influence the unbelievers. The Christians love this world more than they love God. They wont bend they wont bow and they wont burn for Christ. They want riches and the things of this world more than the things of God. And this has caused our Christianity to be milky with no salt. And the unbelievers have some BIG problems and where shud they turn for help???" C.H.
