Happy New Year!

2009 is here! YAY and Oh my!!! In my adulthood....it always amazes me just how very fast a single year can pass....."blink"......gone. Are you making all sorts of plans for the new year? I have decided to try something radically new for me! This is the first year I'm not really going to lay big plans out. Oh I'm not saying I won't plan one day to go to the store the next and I know I have to plan for a graduation party for my nephew in June.....but this is not what I'm talking about.....I "plan" to try to live this year more in the moment, day by day....more simply with my Lord. I plan on letting go more and learning how to follow and listen better! I have had a taste of this when I gave up my Home Management Binder and it was such a JOY! I am going to try to find this freedom in more areas of my life. I want to change saying, "Here are my plans Lord, now bless them please"....to,"Bless me Lord by showing me your plans!"I want to learn to be more Spirit led not self led. This does NOT come naturally to me as I am a type A personality who likes things her way! But God has been dealing with me and growing me in this area recently so now it's time to release the reins fully to the Master and allow the work to be done! What a blessing to see God's work on me...Thank you my Lord for taking the time to mold me and stretch me....may I bring you glory in this area! It will be fun and challenging to see how 2009 unfolds....God's mercies are new each morning...and we've been given a brand spankin' new year with 365 glorious days to work with here! Pray for PEACE....walk in LOVE....live for the LORD......and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
