BLT Cheat

I love bacon. I HATE to fry it. It makes the whole back of the house smell like bacon for days. It gets me greasy. I can't just fry a few pieces because a my family of 6 eats a ton. I usually bake it in the oven....that I can handle. Today I wanted a BLT and had the fresh hot tomatoes right off the plant. So I cheated....BIG time. And you know what.....it was perfectly good! All the bacon taste ....none of the bacon work. The secret weapon?? Bacon bits....good ones that actually taste like bacon. And a nice THICK layer of Mayo to hold them on although on the sandwhich in the picture they rested on the juicy tomatoes....that worked too. Try it one day......it makes BLT's that much easier!!
