Cooking with Kids: Part 4
Me, N~ and banana bread.....life doesn't get any sweeter than this! N~ is my youngest and 9 years old. He's SUPER energetic and so full of life! I can hardly keep up some days. I don't blame him one bit as I was a high octane kid myself years ago.....so he comes by it quite naturally. We cooked the banana bread recipe out of the Joy of Cooking cookbook. It turned out pretty good. I'll be honest....most times I just buy the Kroger brand boxed banana bread mix and just add a banana to it to doctor it up.

Looks like you had a great time! I think that bread looks awesome! I can almost taste it! Great job and I think it's wonderful that you do that with your children, it creates special memories!! you are a great mom!
Thanks Kim! ROFL you should have been there to hear his excitement that girls get to use power tools too?!?! LOL, I've never thought of my hand mixere as a power tool before =) (insert Tim Allen Tool Time Ugh-uh here...arrr arrr arrr..)---->or whatever all those funny "man" noises used to be from his show :P
LOL...that sounds like my son....he is ALL about power tools! LOL....love it! :)
He sure looks like he was having fun.
