Frugal Corn

Field/ feed corn. This is a GREAT article by Debi Pearl. This is not something I plan on doing right now.....but this is one of those articles to print and save in case times get really HARD! I've never had to really worry about what to feed my family and I thank God for this blessing at every single meal! I know He is the one to keep food on the table for my family of 6 and I trust Him to continue to do so! But knowing how to prepare simple foods is something I am working on for the future! I once read an article about the depression era that had the quote "Hard times call for hard eating....." What this has always meant to me is that there are always ways to feed your family....some of them we may not be used to or may not be as easy as we'd like them to be.....but they are there non the less. We think we need a lot more than we do to live....but the simple fact is, we don't.Although this quote is more associated with the diet industry it could also apply for lean times...."Eat to live, don't live to eat!"
