No work gardening...is it really possible? I don't know yet! I am going to find and read a book by Ruth Stout titled: The Ruth Stout no-work garden book, by Ruth Stout and Richard Clemence and it is available through our Library's inter Library Loan program. You can read a bit about her here from Mother Earth News.
Is it cRaZy to try gardening with out all the work or a very sensible thing to do to save precious time and work/energy that could be better used elsewhere?? Or does my laziness truly know no bounds?

There is also something called Lasagna Gardening I'm going to read up on it too here.

This sounds interesting...let us know what you learn.
I'm trying to get a copy of this book from E-bay!! Wish me luck! I'll check back in as I learn!
I have this book and this is the way I garden. Its work at first but great later.

Thank you for the information Debbieo! The book is in high demand on e-bay.....all copies I'm looking at are well over $20.00! But I'll keep looking, I'd like to own this book one day...it might be better to purchase it off season, so for now I have a copy ordered from the library. It should arrive in a week or two....can't wait! It sounds like something I would very much be interested in. I CAN work really hard up front if it means less work later :) Plus as I near my 40's the idea of less to no weeding souds really good to me and my back! Thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!
