Woohoo! My Mom gifted me a beautiful oak book case. I....am.....giddy! It replaces 2 older tall Sauder ones that I've had for 15 yrs that were painted many colors over their life. I still plan to keep the Sauder ones but have asked the Hubbs if he'd help me cut them down....making 4 shorter shelf units. I'd like to put 2 in my closet for shoes and things and maybe the others in the kitchen/ dining area. Not quite sure yet....but for sure we won't get rid of them...but make them over into something else we can use. There will be a future blog post. Here's the whole family room. Somewhere in an old blog post I have a picture showing the old family room shelves....we had a different couch and the painted bookcases and hadn't cut down the entertainment center yet. It's all homey and comfy cozy now. I plan to cut down some pillows from the old couches that will match the tapestry chair and tie it all in together (hmmm....another bloggie post 4 later...LOL)
